My experience at Lake George Escape was overall positive, though there were a few hiccups. The staff was very accommodating and made my first-time camping experience enjoyable, but I did encounter some cleanliness issues in the rental unit. The activities available for kids kept everyone entertained, and the heated pool was a nice touch, although the kiddie pool was quite chilly.

I had a mixed experience at Lake George Escape - Campground. While the cabin I stayed in was clean and comfortable (perfect for enjoying morning coffee), I found the restroom facilities lacking in cleanliness. The staff were generally friendly and provided decent customer service, but the activities offered this year were disappointing compared to previous visits.

This campground is a fantastic spot for families, offering a variety of activities and clean facilities. The kids had an absolute blast with all the fun events, and the cabins were comfortable and spacious, though a bit pricy. However, the bathrooms are in need of renovation and there were some issues with unpleasant smells and staff rudeness on a couple of occasions.

My recent stay at Lake George Escape was a mixed bag. While I appreciated the engaging activities for kids and the cleanliness of our cabin, I was disappointed with a few maintenance issues like the pool's cleanliness and a power problem at our site. Overall, there's potential, but attention to detail is needed for a truly enjoyable experience. 🌊🏕️

This resort is a great place for families with plenty of activities, and the staff is genuinely nice. However, I had some issues with my cabin being quite cramped and lacking cleanliness. The pool is smaller than expected for such a large area, which was disappointing, especially for kids. Overall, it's a fun spot but could definitely use some improvements.

Rooms

I stayed in a 24' cabin that felt cramped, with old carpet in the bathroom and an uncomfortable futon. The upper bunk was way too close to the lower bed, making it feel claustrophobic. I found the price of $599 for two nights to be excessive for the experience we had.
Service

The staff were friendly, and my kids enjoyed the DJ, but I felt let down because the rental services for canoes and tubes were not as accessible as promised.
Location

The resort has a lot of recreational options, but access to the lake was limited with only a small area available for play, which was disappointing.

While there are numerous activities available, I found the pool to be quite tiny for such a large campground, and the bathrooms could use more frequent cleaning.

I had a mixed experience at the campground. While the staff, particularly John, were incredibly welcoming and attentive, my stay was marred by some significant issues, most notably with the hot water and the RV rental unit. It was a family-friendly environment with plenty of activities, but logistics could be improved. Overall, a nice weekend, but it could definitely use some fine-tuning.

We had a fantastic family trip, greeted by attentive and professional staff as soon as we arrived. The onsite restaurant was a great plus, eliminating the hassle of ordering out. However, my experience with tent camping left a lot to be desired; the tent site was not very private and the lack of proper restrooms was inconvenient. Overall, while the campground was clean and had lots of activities for kids, I wouldn't choose it for tent camping again.

Unfortunately, my tent site was gravel and not at all ideal for camping. There was minimal privacy and the toilets were far away.

Despite these issues, the welcoming atmosphere and organized activities made for a memorable visit.
